Alice Angliss
After graduating from St. Catherine’s College in Oxford, Alice Angliss earned a Master Of Music degree in concert percussion from the Royal College of Music. She currently plays across the UK in concert halls, theatres and recording studios and is a member of the London-based percussion trio, Beaten Track.
Her work has included TV and radio performances with ‘Tina: The Tina Turner Musical’ and depping on the UK and European tours of “Miss Saigon”, “Bat Out Of Hell” and ‘Love Actually in Concert” as well as recording sessions at Abbey Road Studios and the BBC. She spent six weeks in Sicily as Principal Timpani for the Mediterranean Opera Festival and toured Denmark with a production of “The Nutcracker”.
Recently, Alice has been playing drums in the role of “Maria” on “Six The Musical” in England’s famed West End theater district. She often covers the Keys/MD chair (“Joan”), as as well. She teaches percussion at Tiffin Girls School and for the Da Capo Music Foundation and also teaches percussion, drums and piano from her home studio.
